Pay with your Face are you Ready ?

If you missed this in the news yesterday, this was the big story worlds first facial recognition payment software by a Finnish company. The word “Uniqul” comes from Latin word Unicus, which means “the only of its kind”.

If you read further you will find that some stores and hotels in London are also trialling facial recognition to identify celebrity clients with a package from NEC a VIP-identification technology designed by NEC IT Solutions is supposed to prevent lack of recognition.

Chris de Silva, vice president of IT Solutions at NEC, told the Sunday Times that the company had addressed privacy concerns and found that most high-profile customers are “quite happy to have their information available because they want a quicker service, a better-tailored service or a more personally tailored service.”

And here we thought Nicholas Cage and John Travolta’s Face Off was just a little bit to futuristic??
